L. Camus-Govoroff (born in 1997) lives and work between Paris and Normandy. They studied at HfG Karlsruhe, NODE Center Berlin, and graduated from ENSAD Paris in 2021.

Through a practice of installation, performance, sculpture and text they are interested in power dynamics such as love and biopolitics. L.’s research intersects with interspecies relations, ecofeminism, queerness, sacredness and liminality. They look at the physical and social limits we face as individuals, imagining possible transgressions and other emancipatory scenarios where the notion of transition and community is important.
Since 2019, they are involved in the Alien She collective, created by Cléo Farenc. The collective is developing multi-purpose curatorial works, audiovisual productions and an educational project (Alien School). They also work as an independent curator.

L. Camus-Govoroff’s work has been featured in solo exhibitions at The Left Place, Reims; Laube, Karlsruhe; Hošek Contemporary, Berlin; DOSE, Hamburg, and group exhibitions at the 66th Salon de Montrouge; List I Ljosi – Light Festival, Seydisfjordur; PH21 Gallery, Budapest; Galerie Bertrand Grimont, Paris; Bétonsalon, Paris; CAC Brétigny, Brétigny-sur-Orge; Les Réserves – FRAC Île-de-France, Romainville. They are laureate of the grant FoRTE Île-de-France (2022-2023); grant Artagon Matières Premières (2022) and finalist for the BOE Art Prize (2020). They were resident at Le Consulat, Paris (2021-2022); Aragon, Pantin (2022-2023), LungAschool, Seydisfjordur (2024); AchterHaus, Hamburg (2024).
Their work is part of the collection of the FRAC des Pays de la Loire.
